Tara Kirk in the San Francisco Chronicle

By B. Earth | June 5, 2008

Olympic swimming medalist and Stanford graduate Tara Kirk proudly shows off her conflict free ring from Brilliant Earth in SF Gate’s Olympic Notebook.

Kirk says, “The platinum is recycled. The diamond is traced all the way back so you know 100 percent where it’s from, so it doesn’t support the oppressive diamond mining going on in Africa. It was mined in Canada. You don’t want to look at your ring and see an oppressive regime.”

Thanks to Tara Kirk for her contribution to our mission, and best wishes for her coming nuptials!
